Cottage is situated at Darwin
Lake, a small development of holiday cottages built in
traditonal Derbyshire stone, within 10 acre
private woodland grounds that guests are welcome to explore. We are up
in the hills above the
small village of Two Dales and 3 miles from Matlock. Many of the Peak
District's exciting attractions are within easy reach of
Chatsworth Cottage.
About Chatsworth Cottage
The
Master bedroom has TV and the main bathroom a bath with
shower over. Two are double bedrooms each with
en-suite shower room; and there is a twin room with
separate bathroom. One of the double bedrooms has an additional single
bed. The very welcoming living area has entrance hall,
kitchen/dining room and a large lounge with TV, video and CD Hi-Fi.
Chatsworth Cottage’s kitchen is extremely well equipped with electric
oven and hob, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave;
crockery, tableware and cookware all included. Prices include linen and
electricity for heating, light and power. The price you are quoted is
the price you pay - there are no hidden extras.

and About
Locally
there is something for everyone from activities and attractions for
tots and teens to couples, families and groups, from the most active to
the more sedate. Children are most welcome. Chatsworth House and Estate
is but a short drive from here - Home of The Duke & Duchess of
Devonshire, open to the public all year round.
There
are
excellent places to eat and
shop; from traditional local Inns to the many cafi's bars and
restaurants of Matlock. A little farther afield are the charming Market
Towns of Ashbourne and Chesterfield with its famous crooked spire.
Bakewell is particularly well-served with its quaint and interesting
shopping arcades full of antique, curio and gift shops.
Attractions
abound in The Peak District including steam railways, outdoor activity
centres, limestone caverns, pony trekking, museums, Stately homes and
amusement parks such as Alton Towers and Gullivers Kingdom. The area is
Internatiionally renowned for its climbing, walking, caving and cycling.
